Tattoo Removal Homecare Advice

Over the next days, small blisters may form followed by a scab

or thin crust. Any scabs or crusting should be allowed to fall off on their own. The underlying skin may remain red for a few days to several weeks. To minimize complications do not remove crusts. (532nm treatments (red tattoos) tend to show more blistering)

• Showering/bathing is permitted after 24 hours. Gently pat the area dry; do not rub with a towel or washcloth

• Do not apply make-up on the treated area until it is fully healed.

• Protect the skin from the sun for the first 2 weeks. Use sunblock or avoid any sun exposure on the treated area to up to 1 month.

As you progress through removal, it's not uncommon for tattoos to change colors. Sometimes a tattoo will appear darker at first, because the laser has turned the larger ink

particles into small fragments, and then gradually fades as you progress through your

10-12 treatments.

Just as every client is different, every tattoo that undergoes laser tattoo removal is unique. Our

goal at Tattoo Removery Rosarito is to remove your unwanted tattoos, so, multiple laser wavelengths are needed Based on the concept of light absorption, some tattoo pigments absorb some wavelengths of light better than others.

Our goal is absorption. Tattoo removal works by breaking up the ink particles in the skin, which

your immune system then carries away (i.e. the fading process).

System

Caring for tattoos after laser removal means boosting your body's overall health. In other

words, keeping your immune system strong is a vital part of tattoo removal aftercare. Why? Your laser session is just the first step of the process. Afterward, your body has to work hard to flush out the ink and regenerate new skin. White blood cells rush in to remove the ink that

the laser removal process has shattered into tiny particles, flushing them out of the skin. Here are some tips for strengthening your immune

system, benefiting your healing and overall health.

Stay Hydrated- Drinking enough water will improve your circulation, bringing lots of those white blood cells to the affected area. This will

ramp up both ink removal and skin repair, helping your skin heal as efficiently as possible!

Eat Clean- Eat healthy foods that give your body lots of nutrition. This will give your body the fuel to regenerate healthy skin cells. Eat lots of vegetables  and choose lean proteins to provide your body with fibers and elasticity.

Exercise - Though you need to avoid intense exercise for the first day or so, regular exercise is essential for a healthy immune system. Thus, it's an essential element of tattoo removal aftercare.

Exercise strengthens each of the body's systems, which can then work together more effectively. When each system is healthy, none

of them is demanding too much help from the immune system, which could take away valuable resources from the healing skin.
